Nintendo unveiled a first look at Yoshi in The Super Mario Galaxy Movie during a recent Nintendo Direct, accompanied by a new trailer that carried a scheduling update for multiple territories.

The trailer concluded with a revised release date, showing the film arriving in cinemas two days earlier in the US and "many additional markets globally." The new date displayed was 1 April 2026, a change Nintendo later confirmed via its official channels.

The promotional clip placed Yoshi centre stage while also featuring a number of other familiar Mario series cameos. The date adjustment was the standout piece of administrative news amid the character reveals and footage in the trailer.

Nintendo described the shift as applying to the US and numerous other markets but did not publish a complete list of affected territories when confirming the update. Regional release schedules often vary, so some countries may retain previously announced dates.

Local cinemas and official Nintendo channels will carry the most accurate, up-to-date listings as distributors finalise screening schedules and ticketing information in the coming days and weeks.

Further information and the trailer itself were originally reported by Nintendo Life.
