Opus: Prism Peak has been assigned a new release date after a last-minute delay towards the end of 2025. Nintendo Life reports the narrative photography puzzler will arrive for Switch 1 and Switch 2 on 26 March 2026.
Positioned as a spiritual successor to Opus: Echo of Starsong, Prism Peak casts the player as a photographer who finds themselves stranded in a strange, otherworldly realm. The protagonist is accompanied by a young girl who appears to understand the rules of this place, with gameplay centred on photographic puzzles and the evolving relationship between the two characters.
The new date follows the unexpected postponement late in 2025, which pushed back expectations for the title's launch window. The forthcoming release will be closely watched by fans of the Opus series and players who favour story-led puzzle adventures with a strong emphasis on atmosphere and visual storytelling.
