Team Ninja has released a free demo for Nioh 3 on PlayStation 5 and PC. The demo is available to download now from the PlayStation Store and Steam, and progress made during the trial will carry over to the full game when it launches in February 2026, VG247 reports.
The trial has been described as generous in scope, allowing players to build characters and advance their progression before the full release. Any progress, including characters and in-demo advancement, will transfer into the retail version, ensuring time invested in the demo is retained.
The demo provides an early opportunity to test combat systems, try out builds and get a feel for Team Ninja's latest iteration of the series ahead of the full launch. The full game remains one of the biggest releases scheduled for February 2026.
Players on PS5 and PC can download the demo now via the respective storefronts.
