Villion: Code — Persona Co-Creator's New PS5/PS4 School RPG Heads to Japan on 25 May 2026

Kouji Okada, co-creator of the Persona series, has officially announced Villion: Code, a new school role-playing game developed by Compile Heart. The title is confirmed for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 and is due to launch in Japan on 25 May 2026.

The release date was reported by Gematsu and subsequently covered by Push Square following Okada's earlier teases about a school-set RPG. Compile Heart, the studio behind the project, is known for its previous console RPG work.

No Western release has been announced at this stage and no localisation details have been provided. Given Okada's pedigree and the franchise appeal of school-themed JRPGs, an overseas launch remains a possibility, but official confirmation from the publisher is still awaited.

Further information on platforms, editions and potential international availability is expected as the Japanese release approaches.
