Xbox's achievement interface has been given a visual refresh as part of the updated Xbox Cloud Gaming dashboard that rolled out yesterday. Multiple observers and outlets have reported the change following the dashboard deployment.
The redesign is purely cosmetic. Achievements continue to unlock, track and integrate with the Xbox network as before. The most noticeable differences are a new default colour palette, an updated achievement logo and a revised font, which contrast with the appearance used on console.
Pure Xbox covered the update in detail, noting that the redesign does not alter achievement functionality or progression. The appearance change appears to be confined to the Cloud Gaming UI rather than signalling any overhaul of the achievements system itself.
Further information and examples of the redesigned achievement tiles are available in the original Pure Xbox report: Pure Xbox — Xbox achievements have been visually redesigned.
