AdHoc Studios' superhero narrative adventure Dispatch will arrive on Nintendo Switch platforms later this week with its visual censorship permanently enabled, according to reporting by Nintendo Life.
The PC and PS5 versions of Dispatch launched last year with a 'Visual Censorship' toggle that allowed players to hide or reveal rude visuals — including nudity and profane gestures. That option has been removed from the Switch releases, with the censorship setting automatically turned on and no in-game way to disable it.
The change means content visible in the uncensored PC and PS5 builds will not be accessible to players on the Switch and Switch 2 versions. Nintendo Life's coverage notes the setting is absent from both Switch releases and that the developer has not provided an in-game alternative toggle.
Further details are available in Nintendo Life's original report: PSA: Dispatch's 'Visual Censorship' Settings Can't Be Removed On Switch.
