Halo Reach Space Mod Goes Viral as Devs Reveal Pitch to Microsoft Went Unanswered

A player-created modification for Halo: Reach that reimagines multiplayer as PvP space combat has gone viral after a series of high-profile videos. The mod, titled "Halo Reach: Slipspace Beta", runs within Halo: The Master Chief Collection on Steam and has attracted significant attention on social media.

Interest accelerated when YouTuber MintBlitz shared early footage on Twitter. Two initial videos exceeded one million views each, and a subsequent mid-January upload drew more than 250,000 views, amplifying exposure across forums and content channels.
