Sony has confirmed that MLB The Show 26 will release for Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S on 17 March 2026, according to an announcement on the official MLB The Show blog and subsequent reporting by Pure Xbox (source).

The blog post sets out the release date but contains no reference to Xbox Game Pass. The omission continues a change in the franchise's recent availability: MLB The Show titles from The Show 21 through The Show 24 launched on Game Pass at release, but the series did not appear on Game Pass at day one with The Show 25 — a trend that appears to be carrying into 26.
