Pokémon Pokopia is set to receive a significant update on August 5, with the arrival of the Bubbly Basin expansion and a free Dive update. The Bubbly Basin expansion is part of the game's Expansion Pass, a three-part paid DLC pack that promises to introduce new content and gameplay mechanics to the game.

The free update will allow players to explore underwater indefinitely, using the new Dive ability to build habitats and attract new Pokémon. The Bubbly Basin expansion, on the other hand, takes players to an abandoned town beneath the ocean, where they must build and restore the submerged village.
