The wait is almost over for basketball fans, as NBA 2K27 is set to release on September 4 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC. This year's game boasts an impressive lineup of cover athletes, including San Antonio Spurs center Victor Wembanyama, Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark, and Chicago Bulls point guard Derrick Rose.

Each cover athlete will be featured on a different edition of the game, with the Standard Edition costing $69.99, the Deluxe Edition priced at $99.99, and the Ultra Edition available for $149.99. The Deluxe and Ultra Editions will grant players early access to the game starting August 28.
