Bethesda Game Studios has laid out its vision for the future of its iconic gaming franchises, including Fallout and The Elder Scrolls. In a recent studio update, the developer confirmed that Fallout 5 is currently in preproduction, with a focus on long-term development using the Creation Engine 3.
The studio also announced several other Fallout projects, including remasters of Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas, as well as a new Fallout game in collaboration with Obsidian Entertainment. Additionally, Fallout 76 will receive a major expansion in 2027, and Fallout Shelter will get new seasons.
