Techland has announced that it will no longer be releasing Dying Light: The Beast on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, due to the game's demanding technical requirements. The developer had initially planned to bring the game to these platforms, but has since decided that it would require too many compromises to deliver a satisfactory experience.
The game, which was released on current-gen consoles and PC in September 2025, features an open world, advanced visuals, and fluid combat and traversal mechanics that rely on the processing power and memory of newer hardware.
