The Octopath Traveler series is set to make its debut on the Switch 2 console, with both Octopath Traveler and Octopath Traveler II scheduled for release on October 1. This launch coincides with the series' 8th anniversary and promises to bring an enhanced gaming experience to fans, thanks to improved frame rates and resolutions on the new hardware.

Both games will be available for purchase separately, either digitally or physically, and a digital-only bundle option will also be offered. However, it's worth noting that there won't be an upgrade path for those who already own the original Switch versions, and save data will not be transferable between the two platforms.
