Nintendo has announced an exciting hardware revision for the Switch 2, set to launch in Europe later this year. The new iteration will boast a replaceable battery, offering gamers more flexibility and convenience. Although the battery capacity will be approximately 1% smaller, the overall weight of the system will increase by around 10g.

When paired with the revised Joy-Con 2 controllers, which also feature replaceable batteries, the total weight increase will be around 14g. This minor adjustment is a small price to pay for the enhanced usability and potential for extended gameplay sessions.
