Xbox CEO Asha Sharma and Chief Content Officer Matt Booty publicly congratulated Playground Games after an unusually strong early run for Forza Horizon 6, ahead of the game's Xbox Game Pass launch this week.

Forza Horizon 6 has not yet been released in its Standard Edition, but has already attracted hundreds of thousands of players through early access and received broadly favourable reviews from critics.

Sharma used social media to praise the development team, while Booty also posted his congratulations. One post read "Very proud of the teams..." as executives celebrated what they described as an exceptionally rare level of early success for a AAA launch.

The public acknowledgements underline the momentum behind the title as it prepares to arrive on Xbox Game Pass, which will broaden access beyond early access players and put the game in front of a much larger audience.
