NIS America has announced a last‑minute delay to the Nintendo Switch 2 version of turn‑based mech RPG STARBITES. The publisher confirmed the Nintendo Switch (original) release remains scheduled for 21 May 2026.

The company provided no new release date for the Switch 2 version and gave no reason for the postponement, stating only that "more information will be shared when we are able to." NIS said the Switch 1 launch is unaffected by the change.
