MOUSE: P.I. for Hire has emerged as an unexpected indie success, with publisher PlayStack confirming 730,000 copies sold since launch.
PlayStack said the performance has allowed it to recoup all milestone payments, publishing and marketing costs under its deal with developer Fumi. Sales are split roughly 50-50 between consoles and PC, the publisher added.

The game also sits on around three million wishlists across storefronts, a metric PlayStack highlighted as an indicator that demand could continue to grow beyond current figures.
