Sony has confirmed total PlayStation 5 console shipments of 93.7 million units following its final quarterly results for fiscal year 2025.

The company reported 1.5 million PS5 units shipped in the fourth quarter, covering January to March 2026, a decline of almost 50% compared with the 2.8 million units shipped in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year.

For the full 2025 fiscal year Sony recorded 16 million PS5 shipments, down from 18.5 million in fiscal 2024. The figures reflect shipments to retailers and distributors rather than sell‑through to end consumers.
