Nintendo Life has published a 13-minute clip showcasing how Final Fantasy VII Rebirth performs on Nintendo's Switch 2 via the recently released free demo. The footage covers the first chapter of the demo and offers a direct look at the game's visuals and run-time behaviour on the hardware.

The demo allows players to transfer save data to the full game when it releases on 3rd June 2026, a feature that should appeal to anyone who wishes to carry progress from the trial into the retail experience.
