Toei Games, the newly formed publishing arm of Toei Animation, has unveiled its first three projects, but the initial slate offers little for PlayStation 5 owners to get excited about.

According to a report from Push Square, the debut announcements avoid the companys most recognisable console-drawing properties such as One Piece or Dragon Ball, and none of the revealed titles were presented as major PS5 releases. The line-up instead appears oriented toward audiences outside the current PlayStation ecosystem.

The move underscores Toei Gamess early strategy of targeting a broader mix of platforms and audiences rather than prioritising flagship console launches. The lack of high-profile anime IPs in the opening trio has left the PlayStation community largely indifferent, with attention likely to remain on future announcements should the publisher shift focus toward native console productions.
