SNK has rolled out the first anniversary update for Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, adding a free single-player story mode and trimming the console price.
Wolves’ Destiny, described as a visual novel-style story mode, arrives on 24 April at no extra cost. The new mode focuses on Wolfgang Krauser’s return to South Town and his ongoing power struggle with Kain R. Heinlein, expanding the game’s narrative offerings alongside the recently announced DLC character Wolfgang Krauser.
The update coincides with a price reduction for PlayStation versions of the game. Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves has been discounted to $19.99 on PS5 and PS4, approximately £16. The announcement reinforces SNK’s continued support for the title as it reaches its one-year milestone.
Further details and the full announcement were published by Push Square.
