Bethesda has released a hotfix for Starfield on PlayStation 5 that addresses crashing issues experienced by players using the game's Enhanced graphics settings. Eurogamer reports the update is intended to restore stability for affected users.
According to Eurogamer, the patch targets crashes that occurred when Enhanced settings were enabled and brings unspecified stability improvements for PS5 installations. The studio previously acknowledged the problem and pledged a corrective update.
The hotfix is now available to PS5 owners via the usual console update process. Bethesda has indicated additional fixes and performance tweaks will follow in subsequent updates as further testing and feedback are evaluated.
