Silent Hill f shows no indication of arriving on Nintendo's Switch 2, but fans of psychological horror have received a small consolation. Fatal Frame II on the new console has been updated with free downloadable cosmetics inspired by Silent Hill f.

Published coverage from Nintendo Life confirms the DLC adds a Navy Sailor School uniform and a Fox Mask, both clearly referencing Silent Hill f’s visual motifs. The items are available now for Fatal Frame II on Switch 2.

Both Silent Hill 2 and Silent Hill f have been well received on other platforms, and recent releases such as Resident Evil Requiem and Fatal Frame II demonstrate that mature horror continues to find an audience on Nintendo’s new hardware.
