RGG Studio has released a new trailer for Stranger Than Heaven that confirms the game's narrative will span five distinct historical eras: 1915, 1929, 1943, 1951 and 1965.
First revealed under the working title Project Century at The Game Awards 2024, the title returned to the stage at The Game Awards 2025 with its official name and a renewed focus on a jazz‑infused action experience. The latest footage, which aired during an Xbox Partner Preview showcase, expands on the setting by tying the story to specific years across the 20th century.

Alongside the trailer reveal, Xbox and RGG announced an "Xbox Presents: A Special Look At Stranger Than Heaven" presentation scheduled for 6 May. The event is billed as a deep‑dive into the game's setting, story, characters and additional details.
RGG Studio has positioned Stranger Than Heaven as a departure from its Yakuza/Like a Dragon work while retaining the developer's trademark cinematic action. No release date has been confirmed at this time.
