Supergiant Games' Hades II and AdHoc Studio's Dispatch are set to arrive on Xbox Series X|S in the coming months, expanding platform availability for two of 2025's most critically acclaimed titles, Game Informer reported.
Hades II, which debuted on PC and Nintendo platforms in September 2025, will come to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S in April and will be available on Xbox Game Pass on day one. The sequel places players in control of Melinoë as she navigates the underworld and confronts Chronos, the Titan of Time. Hades II earned rare critical acclaim on release, including a 10 out of 10 from Game Informer; Charles Harte described it as "the pinnacle of the roguelike genre."
Dispatch, an episodic superhero workplace comedy from AdHoc Studio, is also due on Microsoft's platform shortly. The title originally launched on PS5 and PC in October 2025 and was praised for its character-driven storytelling and production values, with former Game Informer editor Ben Reeves awarding it a 9 out of 10 and noting its resemblance to prestige television in tone and structure.
Neither game appeared on Xbox at launch, so the forthcoming releases represent notable platform expansions for both developers and should broaden their audiences. Hades II's inclusion on Xbox Game Pass in April will provide immediate access for Game Pass subscribers on day one.
Further launch details and the precise Xbox release date for Dispatch were not specified in the report. Game Informer published the original coverage on 26 March 2026; the full story is available here: Game Informer.
