Mouse: P.I. For Hire will now arrive on April 16 after its original March 19 launch window was shifted so the team can finish final touches. Developer Fumi Games and publisher PlaySide Studios said the extra weeks are intended to ensure the game meets their quality expectations ahead of release.
- New release date: April 16 (originally scheduled for March 19).
- Reason for delay: The studio wants more time in the final development phase to polish and refine the experience before shipping.
- About the game: A noir first-person shooter with 1930s cartoon visuals and gameplay inspired by classic "boomer" shooters—players take on cases as detective Jack Pepper.
- Cast and platforms: Jack Pepper is voiced by Troy Baker; the game is slated for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch and Switch 2, and PC.
- Context: Mouse was first revealed in 2023 and its revised launch now falls just after another indie title, Replaced, which also moved from March into April.
