Ubisoft has tapped three longtime Assassin's Creed contributors to steer the franchise's future under Vantage Studios, the subsidiary created to oversee Ubisoft's biggest series. The appointments split responsibilities across brand strategy, creative content, and production standards, pairing corporate oversight with hands-on experience from multiple past Creed entries.

  • Vantage Studios, formed last year to manage top Ubisoft properties, will shepherd Assassin's Creed alongside Far Cry and Rainbow Six.
  • Martin Schelling will lead the Assassin's Creed brand, overseeing long-range strategy and the franchise's overarching direction; he has producer credits across Revelations through Valhalla and has served in senior production roles since 2024.
  • Jean Guesdon is named head of content and will guide creative decisions and support individual game teams; Guesdon previously directed Black Flag and Origins and returned to Ubisoft after a stint elsewhere in 2023–24.
  • François de Billy will focus on production excellence, aiming to standardize and strengthen development practices across Assassin's Creed projects; he has decades of Ubisoft experience and worked on Origins and Valhalla as a production designer.
  • All three veterans share credits on 2017's Assassin's Creed Origins, tying them to a pivotal era for the series; with the most recent title released under a year ago, new entries are not expected immediately.
