Obsidian Entertainment has pushed a major 2.0 anniversary update for Avowed on Xbox Series X|S and PC, marking the game's first year. The free patch wraps in a New Game+ mode, additional playable species, customizable difficulty options and other changes, and the title is now available through Xbox Game Pass Premium as well as Ultimate.

  • New Game+ mode lets players restart with progress benefits and carryover gear and abilities into a fresh playthrough.
  • New playable species have been added, expanding character creation and role-playing options for returning and new players alike.
  • Custom difficulty settings provide more control over combat and challenge, enabling tailored experiences from relaxed exploration to punishing encounters.
  • Avowed is now included on Xbox Game Pass Premium in addition to Ultimate, widening access for subscribers on console and PC.
