As part of Pokémon's 30th anniversary coverage, XPLog is highlighting Nintendo Life's running poll to find the community's favourite Pokémon from Generation 6 (the Kalos region). Pokémon marks its 30th birthday on 27 February, and Nintendo Life is running a generation-a-day series of polls in the run-up. Each poll remains open for five days, with the nine generation winners progressing to a final showdown at the end of the month.
Generation 6 introduced Kalos and a number of enduring additions to the Pokédex. Notable Gen 6 entries include Greninja, Sylveon, Xerneas, Yveltal, Talonflame, Aegislash, Hawlucha, Diancie, Chesnaught and Delphox, alongside the starter trio originating as Chespin, Fennekin and Froakie.
Voting for the Kalos poll is hosted on Nintendo Life and will run for five days. The winning Pokémon from each generation will go head-to-head in the final poll at the end of February to determine an overall fan favourite for the 30th anniversary.
