Marathon is opening its servers to the public for a limited preview from 26 February to 2 March, letting players test a slice of the game before launch. The trial is available across platforms, including PlayStation 5, and includes two distinct playable areas plus early faction content.

  • Open preview window: 26 February–2 March, free for all players on every platform.
  • Playable areas: Two zones are on offer for the preview — Perimeter and Dire Marsh.
  • Faction content: The opening contracts for five of Marathon’s factions are included so players can sample different playstyles.
  • PS Plus bonus: Subscribers unlock themed weapon charms inspired by first-party properties as part of the event.
