Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2 announced for Switch 2 and Switch

Konami has announced Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2 for Nintendo Switch and the forthcoming Switch 2, with release scheduled for 27 August 2026.

Described as the second instalment of the Master Collection series, the package includes a number of headline entries from the franchise and marks a first for the platform with the debut of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots on Nintendo hardware.

Konami confirmed that a digital soundtrack and other purchase bonuses will be offered alongside the collection. Further details on box contents, regional editions and whether the release will include physical media were not disclosed in the initial announcement.
