Saber Interactive, the studio behind Space Marine 2 and World War Z, has announced an untitled AAA John Wick game for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC.
The project was revealed during Sony's State of Play showcase and carries the John Wick license under development "in collaboration between Saber, Lionsgate, and Stahelski," according to the studio's announcement.
The announcement confirmed that the title features Keanu Reeves in model form, signalling the actor's involvement at least on a visual level. Further details on gameplay, release window or platforms beyond the initial list were not disclosed during the reveal.
Saber Interactive has previously positioned itself as a developer and publisher of large-scale action and shooter projects, and the new John Wick project is being described as a full AAA production. Lionsgate holds the film rights to the John Wick franchise and director Chad Stahelski is named among the collaborators.
No release date, editions or pre-order details have been announced. Further updates are expected as development progresses and the partners release additional information.
