Ember Lab has officially announced Kena: Scars of Kosmora, the long-awaited follow-up to 2021's Kena: Bridge of Spirits. Backed by PlayStation, the sequel is scheduled to release later in 2026 on PlayStation 5 and PC.
The studio described Scars of Kosmora as "bigger and better" than its predecessor, outlining a focus on deeper combat systems, an expanded world to explore and more intricate boss encounters. The reveal was accompanied by an announcement trailer showcasing the game's upgraded visuals and combat set-pieces.
Ember Lab's continuation of the Kena series aims to build on the narrative and mechanical foundations established in Bridge of Spirits, while increasing scope across environments and encounter design. Specific release dates, editions and platform-exclusive content details have not yet been disclosed.
