Konami has confirmed Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Volume 2 for PlayStation 5, due to arrive on 27 August 2026. The package brings two major entries to PS5: Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker.

Both titles will be issued with a Screenplay Book and a Master Book. Additional bonus content bundled with the volume includes the Game Boy Advance title Metal Gear: Ghost Babel and a digital soundtrack.

The inclusion of Metal Gear Solid 4 marks the first time the game will be distributed for a current-generation PlayStation, ending its long-standing status as a PS3-only release. The move makes the title more accessible to players without legacy hardware.
