Ubisoft has officially unveiled Rayman 30th Anniversary Edition, with the remaster set to appear on Xbox Series X|S from Friday 13 February 2026. The reveal came during Sony's State of Play and, in digital form, the release landed with minimal prior notice—effectively a near shadow drop.
The package presents the original 1996 platformer in a restored form while bringing together five different historical versions of the game. In addition to those builds, the collection includes a never-before-playable SNES prototype, offering players a rare look at an alternate iteration of the classic title.
The new edition preserves the core gameplay and level design fans will remember from the original release, while bundling archival content that reflects Rayman’s development history. Ubisoft’s announcement positions the release as both a celebration and a preservation effort for one of the franchise’s most iconic entries.
Pure Xbox first reported the timing and contents of the collection. Further platform rollouts, physical editions or pricing details have not been confirmed by Ubisoft at this time.
The launch marks a milestone for the franchise, delivering a compact retrospective for long-time fans and a straightforward entry point for new players interested in platforming history.
