Hello Games has rolled out the Remnant update for No Man's Sky, the studio's first big patch of 2026 and part of celebrations around the game's tenth anniversary. The headline addition is the Gravitino Coil, a gravity-manipulating tool that changes how you interact with debris, enemies and salvage on planetary surfaces, alongside several new vehicles and other content.

  • Gravitino Coil gravity tool: pick up large objects and debris to clear hazards or use them as improvised weapons.
  • Combat and utility uses: the gravity device can disrupt sentinels, launch projectiles or help you recover bulk scrap during exploration.
  • Salvage-focused gameplay: players can carry major finds back to base to be recycled into rarer materials and components.
  • New vehicles and extras: the update adds fresh means of traversal and other quality-of-life additions to expand exploration options.
  • Major early-year patch: Remnant is Hello Games' first substantial update of 2026, continuing the steady stream of post-launch content for the decade-old title.
