Hello Games has rolled out the Remnant update for No Man's Sky on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4, arriving 11 February 2026. The headline addition is a gravity gun-style tool, described by Push Square as a major new toy for the sci-fi sandbox.

The new device expands the player's toolkit, enabling a fresh approach to exploration and interaction with in-world objects and encounters. Alongside the gravity gun, the Remnant patch includes a wider package of content additions, balance tweaks and technical fixes intended to refine the core experience.

The update continues Hello Games' long-running programme of post-launch support for No Man's Sky, which has seen the title evolve from its original release into a sprawling, highly moddable universe. The developer's steady cadence of free updates keeps the game shifting and growing across platforms.

Players on PS5 and PS4 can download the Remnant update now. Further details and a full changelog are available via coverage from Push Square and official Hello Games channels.
