Coffee Stain Studios has confirmed that Valheim, the Viking survival title that launched into Early Access in 2021, will be released on the Switch 2 in 2026.

Valheim earned attention following its Early Access debut and later expanded to additional platforms in 2023. The announcement marks the first time the game has been confirmed for Nintendo's next-generation handheld, bringing its crafting, exploration and combat systems to a new audience.
