Guerrilla and PlayStation have lifted the lid on Horizon Hunters Gathering, a three‑player tactical co‑op heading to PC and PS5. The studio positioned the new title as a squad‑based hunt experience that blends methodical combat with loot and progression.

Early footage and developer commentary draw clear parallels with free‑to‑play monster‑hunting games such as Dauntless: teams of three hunters face off against large, attack‑patterned beasts, equip modular kits and adapt loadouts to tackle encounters. Presentation and pace emphasise tactical positioning and coordinated ability use rather than pure action brawl.

Development sits with Guerrilla, the studio behind the Horizon single‑player franchise, and the project forms part of PlayStation’s broader push into live service and multiplayer experiences. Horizon Hunters Gathering will be offered on PC as well as PlayStation 5.

A closed playtest is scheduled to arrive soon. Details on registration and participation were left to official channels; further information has been promised by Guerrilla and PlayStation ahead of the test.
