Square Enix has confirmed a release date for The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales, announcing during today's Partner Showcase that the HD-2D action-adventure will launch on Switch 2 on 18 June.
The title, described by the publisher as a Zelda-like adventure, adopts the now-familiar HD-2D visual style that blends retro pixel art with modern lighting and depth. Footage shown during the showcase emphasised vibrant environments and handcrafted set pieces, continuing the aesthetic trend seen in recent Square Enix projects.
A free demo is currently available on the Nintendo eShop, allowing players to sample the game's world and mechanics ahead of the full release. Square Enix's announcement follows earlier teases and cements the game's summer launch window for Nintendo's next-generation handheld-console.
Further details and the showcase footage were reported by Nintendo Life.
