Nintendo used today’s Nintendo Direct to show gameplay for Resident Evil Requiem and to confirm a slate of themed peripherals tied to the game’s release.

A Resident Evil Requiem-themed Switch 2 Pro Controller will be released on the same day as the game, with Nintendo scheduling the title’s launch for 27 February. No technical specifications or pricing for the controller were provided during the presentation.

Two Amiibo — one modelled on Grace and another on Leon — are planned for a later release in the summer. Nintendo says the Amiibo will unlock weapon skins for use in-game.

Resident Evil Requiem is due on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PC and Switch 2 on 27 February. Nintendo did not supply pricing or preorder details for the branded controller or the Amiibo during the Direct.
