Mario Kart World, the marquee launch title for Nintendo's Switch 2, has emerged as the console's clear sales leader, moving 14.03 million copies so far. That figure includes units bundled with the console and puts it well ahead of the next best sellers on the system.

  • Mario Kart World: 14.03 million units sold (includes game-in-bundle sales).
  • Second place is Donkey Kong Bananza with roughly 4.25 million copies sold as of December 31, 2025.
  • Pokémon Legends: Z-A sold about 3.89 million on Switch 2, but combined with its Switch sales (8.41 million) its lifetime total reaches approximately 12.3 million.
  • Kirby Air Riders has recorded 1.76 million sales since its November 20 launch, with around 900,000 of those in Japan despite being on sale for less than three months.
  • Nintendo reports Switch 2 software has shipped 37.93 million units to date, while original Switch software dipped 12.1% year-over-year to 108.93 million units.
