Ball x Pit is receiving its first substantial free update, The Regal, which launches on January 26. The patch expands the roster with two new characters and brings a slate of fresh balls, passive effects, and an extra surprise for players to discover.

  • New characters: The Carouser and The Falconer join the cast; the Carouser manipulates returning balls into orbit, while the Falconer fights alongside two falcons that interact with thrown balls.
  • More gear and modifiers: Eight additional balls are being added, plus several new passive abilities whose details are being held back until release.
  • Platforms and availability: The Regal arrives on January 26 and will be available across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, and PC.
  • Roadmap ahead: This update is the first of three major post-launch drops planned for 2026, with Shadow and Naturalist scheduled for April and July respectively.
