Keen Games has narrowed Enshrouded's full launch to sometime this fall and laid out broad plans for 2026. The developer says one more major Early Access update is incoming, while the 1.0 release will bring new regions, upgraded sharing tools, building improvements, and console availability.

  • 1.0 window: The studio now expects the game to exit Early Access this fall and will release a console version at launch, though specific platforms haven't been named.
  • Final Early Access update: A last large content update will arrive before 1.0, introducing Adventure Sharing so players can more easily trade and showcase creations.
  • Launch upgrades: At full release players can expect additional map areas, a more capable Adventure Sharing system, expanded building features, and further combat reworks.
  • Combat and performance focus: Keen plans deeper combat mechanics, smarter enemy behavior, greater enemy variety, and rebalanced encounters. Post-launch optimization work will target technical issues such as shader compilation.
  • Immediate patch notes: A hotfix due tomorrow adjusts combat presentation (damage number visibility, blocking/parry animations and telegraphing), improves projectile and spell accuracy, adds a vanity armor set, reduces the frequency of exploding barrels, and includes assorted bug fixes.
