Nintendo is rolling out the Switch 2 update for Super Mario Bros. Wonder on March 26, priced at $19.99. The update adds a fresh amusement-park themed area, new challenge modes tied to completed levels, and a few quality-of-life features aimed at families.
- Bellabel Park debuts as a hub of cooperative and competitive minigames split between local play and wireless/online modes, offering both shared-screen and individual-screen experiences.
- GameShare support lets one Switch 2 owner locally share certain attractions with nearby Switch or Switch 2 players who don’t own the game, while online/wireless activities expect each player to have their own screen.
- Camp Central introduces the Toad Brigade Training Camp—alternate, bite-sized challenges that unlock as you finish stages, including time-limited coin runs, enemy-clear objectives, and invincibility trials.
- The Koopalings will now scatter across worlds as new hunt targets, aided by an explorer Toad who helps point you toward their locations.
- Rosalina joins the playable roster without unique gameplay powers and is available across all modes; accessibility upgrades include a Co-Star Luma option for groups of two or more that can fly, collect coins, damage foes, and cannot be defeated—designed for younger or less experienced players.
