Electronic Arts and DICE will deploy Battlefield 6 patch 1.1.3.5 on 20 January. The update, billed as a season‑extending release, pushes the end of Season 1 into mid‑February to make way for Season 2.
The most notable gameplay change targets jet combat. The update implements a nerf to the jet cannon that reduces its effectiveness in air engagements, a tweak that has already been described by some players as making jets noticeably less potent.
The patch also introduces visual and interface improvements to Redsec, the game's extraction mode. The armour bar in Redsec has been made more visible, clarifying player status during firefights and improving HUD readability.
Alongside these headline changes, the release notes cite a range of miscellaneous bug fixes and stability improvements intended to smooth player experience while the season is extended.
Patch 1.1.3.5 arrives 20 January, with Season 2 expected to begin in mid‑February.
